#ForTheQuays: Celebrating Our Vibrant Community

As the sun graces Salford Quays, Ordsall Riverside, and MediaCity, our community blossoms with renewed energy and togetherness. This summer, we embrace the spirit of supporting local, independent businesses that make our area unique.
One fantastic new addition to our community is MCR Vets, an independent veterinary clinic now open in Salford Quays. It’s great to see services like this rooted in our area, providing vital care for our four-legged friends and showing that local expertise can flourish close to home.
Over at Clippers Quay, L’Artigiano Cucina Italiana has opened its doors, bringing quality food and warm hospitality to the waterfront. The menu is impressive, and it’s already becoming a popular spot for locals looking to enjoy a relaxed meal with a beautiful view.
Looking ahead, I’m excited for the UK Chinese Dragon Boat Festival returning to The Quays on Sunday, 25th May. It’s a vibrant and joyful celebration featuring thrilling races and cultural festivities that bring our whole community together.
We’re also counting down to the reopening of Kargo on the Docks at MediaCity on 9th May—a brilliant outdoor venue where independent food vendors come together in a lively, social setting. It’s a true community hub.
The Quays in the summer is something special: incredible sunsets, nature at every turn, and scenic walkways perfect for a peaceful stroll. Let’s continue to support local, support independent, support each other—#ForTheQuays.
